^ABOUT

Aída Herrera Peña is a Colombian artists and design researcher working at the intersection of anthropological social studies, artistic research, performance and media production. She has a great experience with the execution of diverse projects among the design, culture, and artistic sectors. Aída fosters with her practice, not only collaborative and co- creative processes, but also experimental ways of doing and knowing. She is interested in exploring social realities and everyday life scenarios from a performative perspective, while focusing on embodied knowledge and experiences.

She graduated from the Faculty of Design and Arts in the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano (COL) and holds a Master’s in Design Research from the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and Bauhaus Dessau Foundation in cooperation with Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (DE)
